Please Pray For Me!

Goodmorning Guys,

    Well, i don't really know where to start, but probably let you guys know that I'm home in bed sick with Pneumonia! That can explain why i wouldn't be in the office for most of this week. I've never had Pneumonia before and it's so weird because I'm tired all the time, even when I've slept, i wake up tired again... I'm taking prescription medication and drinking lots of water and fluids. I've also changed my diet this last week and I've said goodbye to coffee for awhile. Believe it or not, i think i was addicted to coffee! Anyhow, I feel encouraged to say that I'm covered by the Lord and believe that God's Healing will come upon me soon... That's why I'm asking for your help and support to pray for me and that God would restore my health to normal. If you guys didn't know this, the Pneumonia i have is called "walking pneumonia" and its the one that may have stuck with me for a long time, even when you never knew. So this may have been with me for awhile now, without even noticing it.. but now i do! Also, they say its not contagious, so don't be afraid to get close to me whenever you see me. I hope you're all having an awesome week, enjoying the beautiful sunshine out there. God Bless You guys and see you soon!  :)

    Here's a couple of verses that have encouraged me this week:

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases ..." (Psalm 103:2)

Easter Debrief...

Hey Guys,

    Hope you're all having a great week so far! First of all before I begin even debriefing Easter Sunday I want to thank all of you that served on the team. Worship Band, Singers, Choir, Sound, Video, Service Coordinators, and all the surrounding support teams that made the Easter Sunday a great experience for all of us! Your time and commitment to the team was very much appreciated in all of the areas you served. I can tell you that you were all a blessing for everyone that came through our sanctuary doors that day. I could go on and on about how wonderful our time was, but instead of hearing it all from me, I would like to give you the opportunity to post your own debrief easter comments and share those with our whole team. Here are some things to think about when writing a comment:

    1. How was your worship experience on Easter?

    2. What was most impacting to you in the service and why?

    3. What were some things you caught this Easter that you would like to see the team continue to   go after for our future venues? (Spiritual, Musical, Technical,  Appearance,  etc.) - it really can be anything!

    4. What were some things that you would recommend or consider changing if they could?
      

   5. Ever since we started this blog, has it been a convenient way for you to be connected with the team; and was the overall communication of everything successful for you and the team?

Thursday Night Recap

Hey to all of you with something to say before i jump in bed! First of all i want to thank all of you on the worship team for the heart of serving and worshipping with your gifts on the team. It was so awesome tonight, that we could have the Worship Choir be in session with the Worship Band. At the beginning we may have hit a few bumps, but as we went on in our rehearsal I saw how Spirit of the Lord really brought joy to our hearts this evening.
    My encouragement to all of you as we have these next few days to prepare our hearts before Sunday, is to seek God through prayer and the Word. It's amazing how God speaks to us daily and one way we can have a more effective time through worship is when we come with an experienced heart that is filled with what God plants in our daily walk. That time you spend with God every morning when you wake up contributes to how we will lead people to God through worship. I would love to hear from some of you what God has been saying to you and also in this season of "BreakTHRU" at PDX4.

    Well, it's pretty late right now and I will go get my sleep. Look forward to this Sunday and of course everytime we get together to worship. Feel free to leave a comment or two. Have a goodnight and an awesome Friday!
